Olympia Park Tunnel Community Art Project
The Olympia Park Tunnel mural, painted by neighborhood children, was recently tagged with graffiti. To remedy this the Edison Park Community Council has teamed up with motivated community members and local artist, Licha DeLaPena, on a community art project giving everyone the opportunity to participate and make a lasting mark on the neighborhood and the new nature themed tunnel art! Now all we need is you!
To participate please do the following:
Grab a leaf from a neighborhood tree (any leaf will do);
Contribute $5 at the below link for each person who plans to participate;
Sign up each participant for a time slot here: https://forms.gle/pQsNckmprGNhfXJE6 (To sign up for more than one participant you will have to fill out the form more than once. Sorry, the internet is hard.)
Head to the tunnel at your designated date and time with your leaf, a mask, some wipes, and a paint brush.
